Knock Out Pot
The Apex Knock Out Pot is engineered to effectively remove entrained liquid droplets from gas streams. Typically installed downstream of separators or on the vent lines of test tanks, this unit ensures the reliable capture of liquid carryover, safeguarding downstream equipment and enhancing process safety.

Featuring a tangential gas inlet, the vessel uses centrifugal force to separate liquids from the gas phase. The separated liquid collects at the bottom of the vessel and is discharged in a controlled manner via integrated drain systems.
Designed with operational flexibility in mind, the Knock Out Pot includes all essential inlet, outlet, and drain valves, as well as a safety relief device for overpressure protection. A convenient access hatch allows for internal inspection and removal of accumulated debris.
Available in a range of sizes and configurations, the Apex Knock Out Pot is tailored to meet specific flow rate requirements and varying volumes of entrained liquids, making it a dependable solution for both onshore and offshore applications.
Onshore and Offshore Well Testing
Note: Designed and manufactured to ASME VIII sec 1 or PD5500 cat. 1, ASME B31.3 and NACE MR-01-75.
Other sizes and configurations are available to meet most applications, For more information contact your local Apex Petroleum Services representative
